HTC has officially announced the HTC Desire U with modest specifications. It has a 1 GHz single-core processor along with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage space. The storage can be expanded up to 32 GB using its micro SD card slot. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 UI but there is no official statement about the JellyBean upgrade. It has a 4 inch SLCD screen of WVGA resolution taking its pixel density to 233 ppi. There are all the necessary connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 as well as A-GPS.

The HTC Desire U Price In India is not officially announced but it should not be above the INR 10K mark for it to be a good value for money option to the consumers.
